Testimonials
Don't take our word for it—here are comments from some of our guests:
This is a hidden gem, literally!
"I feel like I spent a week in the Caribbean surrounded by pines. It’s a short walk through the woods to the beach. Very few neighbors on the beach. The cabin was clean and comfy. The location is perfectly located between Munising and Marquette so you have a variety of adventures to choose from. I’d also recommend checking out nearby Lakenenland sculpture park."

Great get away near the lake!
"This place is just as wonderful as the pictures indicate. The weather was a bit cold during our stay, so we didn't sit on the back deck or swim in the lake, but we enjoyed walks on the sand and so many wonderful fall colors. The cabin seems to have everything a visitor could want. We had plenty of extra blankets for the cool nights and more than enough dishes to cook a meal. We found the restaurant and tourist information helpful. This place was great for our family of three adults as we visited family in Marquette."

Loved it
"My husband, 4 year old daughter and sister-in-law spent a week at the beachcomber and had a wonderful time. We had great weather and the lake was warm enough to swim! We loved hiking to waterfalls, pictured rocks, miners beach and Marquette. The cottage had everything we needed. We had the beach mostly to ourselves and enjoyed evening walks watching the beautiful sunsets. The cottage was super cozy, the perfect place for relaxing."

"This was our first trip to the UP and we were delighted beyond expectation! Such a beautiful place, and the Beachcomber was the perfect spot for a balance of relaxation and fun nearby."

"Just a quick note to say it was a wonderful treat to stay at the cottage this past week. Weather was delightful for sunbathing, golf, and everything else. I saw more lady's slippers blooming at the cottage than I've seen in my whole life combined, awesome! The accommodations at the cottage are superb."
